Terms of Use

Effective date: June 12, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and VitaSync ("we", "us") when you use the service. Please read them. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Who may use VitaSync

You must be 18 or older to create an account and use the service. The signup screen asks you to confirm your age. If you are under 18, you may not use VitaSync.

The service

VitaSync is a supplement and medication adherence app. It includes:

  • Our mobile apps for iPhone and Android.
  • Our web app.
  • Our marketing website and blog.

The service lets you build a supplement and medication routine, set reminders, log doses, track adherence, keep inventory counts, add products by label photo or barcode, create care profiles for people you care for, and share a read-only view of a plan. A free tier lets you track for yourself. A paid Pro subscription adds the caregiver suite, including the Watching dashboard, missed-dose alerts, multiple care profiles, doctor-ready exports, and read-only share links.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for your account. Keep your password private, use a strong one, and let us know at support@vitasync.app if you think someone else has gained access to your account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. The information you give us when you create and use an account is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your content and data

You keep ownership of the information you put into VitaSync, such as your profiles, plans, and logs. To run the service for you, you give us a limited license to host, store, process, and display that information, and to send it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, for the sole purpose of operating and improving the service for you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that remain briefly in routine backups.

If you use label scanning, the photo you submit is processed to read the supplement facts from the label, as described in the Privacy Policy. We use label photos for that extraction step. We do not use them for advertising and we do not sell them.

Acceptable use

Use VitaSync only for its intended purpose and in line with the law. You agree not to:

  • Break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the service.
  • Try to access another user's account or data without permission.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to break the service or its security.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the service except where the law says you may.
  • Upload anything harmful, such as malware, or anything you do not have the right to upload.
  • Enter another person's information without the permission described below.

Caregiver responsibilities

VitaSync lets you help care for another person, such as a parent. If you use these features, you agree that:

  • You have permission. You will only create or manage a profile about another person, or invite them, if you are allowed to, for example because you have their permission or you are their legal guardian. You are responsible for that permission, not us.
  • You keep information accurate. You are responsible for the accuracy of the plans, schedules, and doses you enter for someone else.
  • You will not rely on the app alone. The service can send reminders and alerts, but it cannot guarantee that a reminder or a missed-dose alert will always be delivered. You must not rely on VitaSync as the only safeguard for another person's care, especially for critical medication. Keep other safeguards in place.

Subscriptions and billing

The Pro subscription costs $19 per month. Here is how billing works.

  • Where you are billed. When you buy Pro through an app, you are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account, handled by our payments partner RevenueCat together with the store. We never see your full card number.
  • Auto-renewal. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. It renews automatically each month and you are charged for the next month, until you cancel.
  • How to cancel. You cancel in your store account settings, the App Store on Apple devices or Google Play on Android. If you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, and it does not renew after that.
  • Refunds. Refunds are handled by the app store you bought from, and the store's refund policies apply. Contact the store for a refund request.
  • Price changes. If we change the price of Pro, we will give you notice before the new price applies to you, in the way the app store requires, so you can decide whether to continue.

VITASYNC IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE. IT IS NOT INTENDED TO BE USED FOR THE DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT, CURE, OR PREVENTION OF ANY DISEASE OR HEALTH CONDITION.

ALWAYS CONSULT A QUALIFIED DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST BEFORE STARTING, STOPPING, OR CHANGING ANY SUPPLEMENT OR MEDICATION, AND BEFORE MAKING ANY DECISION ABOUT YOUR HEALTH OR THE HEALTH OF SOMEONE YOU CARE FOR.

DO NOT RELY ON VITASYNC IN AN EMERGENCY, AND DO NOT RELY ON IT AS THE ONLY REMINDER SYSTEM FOR CRITICAL MEDICATION. IF YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE MAY BE HAVING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, CALL YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY SERVICES OR GO TO THE NEAREST EMERGENCY ROOM RIGHT AWAY.

Supplement information disclaimer

Any supplement information shown in the service is for general educational purposes only and is not medical advice. Supplement needs vary by individual. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement regimen. VitaSync does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.

Reliability and availability

We work to keep VitaSync running and to deliver your reminders and alerts, but we cannot guarantee that the service will always be available or that every notification will arrive on time, or at all. Notification delivery depends on things outside our control, such as your device settings, your notification permissions, your internet connection, and the app stores and operating systems. We may also change, suspend, or stop parts of the service. Because of this, do not use VitaSync as your only safeguard for critical care, as stated above.

Intellectual property

The VitaSync name, apps, website, design, and content (other than the information you put in) belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the service except where the law allows.

Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback, we may use them to improve VitaSync without any obligation to you, and you grant us the right to do so. You do not have to send feedback, and we appreciate it when you do.

Third-party services and app stores

The service relies on third parties, including the providers listed in our Privacy Policy and the app stores. Their own terms may apply to you, and we are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

The following apply when you get the app from an app store:

  • Apple. These terms are between you and VitaSync, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price if any; to the maximum extent allowed by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory claims, and consumer protection claims. Apple is not responsible for handling any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any US Government restricted-parties list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
  • Google. If you get the app from Google Play, Google's terms also apply, and your use is subject to the then-current Google Play Terms of Service.

Termination

You can stop using VitaSync at any time and can delete your account as described in our Privacy Policy and on our account-deletion page. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we stop offering the service. If your account ends, the sections of these terms that should reasonably survive, such as the disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification, will continue to apply.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, ACCURATE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT REMINDERS OR ALERTS WILL ALWAYS BE DELIVERED. SOME PLACES DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS, SO SOME OF THESE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, VITASYNC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY MISSED, LATE, OR UNDELIVERED REMINDER OR ALERT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF FIFTY US DOLLARS ($50) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM.

SOME PLACES DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER THE LAW.

Indemnification

To the extent allowed by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from reasonable claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or your handling of another person's information without the permission described above. We will let you know about any such claim, and you may participate in the defense.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the U.S. state in which VitaSync is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We will update this section with the named state when our entity registration is complete.

Dispute resolution

If you have a problem, please contact us first at support@vitasync.app so we can try to resolve it informally. We will work with you in good faith. If we cannot resolve a dispute within 30 days, either of us may bring the dispute in the state or federal courts located in the governing-law state described above, and you agree to the jurisdiction of those courts. This section does not stop either of us from seeking an injunction or other urgent relief where appropriate.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service grows or the law changes. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top, and for meaningful changes we will give you reasonable notice, for example in the app or by email. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
