Delete Your VitaSync Account

You can delete your VitaSync account and your data at any time. This page explains how, what gets removed, and what to expect.

Delete your account in the app

This is the fastest way and it works on both the web app and the mobile apps.

1. Open VitaSync.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap or click Delete Account.
4. Confirm when asked.

This runs a backend function that deletes your account and the data associated with it.

Delete your account by email

If you cannot use the in-app option, email us and we will do it for you.

• Send to: support@vitasync.app
• From: the email address on your VitaSync account, so we can confirm it is you.
• Include: a short note asking us to delete your account.
• Turnaround: we will confirm and complete your request within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

• Your account and login.
• Your care profiles, including any you created for people you care for.
• Your supplement and medication plans and schedules.
• Your dose history and adherence statistics.
• Your inventory counts.
• Any label photos and the details extracted from them.
• Your share links.

What is kept for a short time

A few things do not disappear instantly:

• Backups. Copies of your data may remain in our routine backups for a short period before those backups cycle out on their normal schedule. We do not restore deleted data from backups except where the law requires it.
• Limited legal or operational records. We may keep a minimal record longer when we have to, for example to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or protect the security of the service. We do not use these records to rebuild your account.

Delete your data without deleting your account

If you want to keep your account but remove information, you have options:

• Remove individual profiles, plans, or logs inside the app.
• Or email support@vitasync.app and tell us what you would like removed.
